Reported The Facts on Thursday (25/4/2024), boy groups Xikers, 8TURN, and TNX are reported to be taking part in a competition entitled Road to Kingdom 2. MNET confirms that it will again hold an inter-competition for boy groups in Kpop after a lapse of four years from the first season.
Road to Kingdom Season First was won by The Boyz, and since then, their popularity has increased. Xikers, TNX, and 8TURN will compete on a spectacular stage to become champions in the next season. Come on, see the complete information about them below!
1.TNX
TNX (instagram.com/official.tnx)TNX is a PNation umbrella group which was formed from a survival event called LOUD (2020). They officially debuted on May 17, 2022, with the release of the album entitled WAY UP. The members consist of Taehun, Kyungjun, Hyunsoo, Junhyeok, Hwi, and Sungjun.
TNX has received awards as the best rookie group at the Hanteo Music Awards 2022 and the 32nd Seoul Music Awards. In March 2024, they released a digital single entitled FUEGO.
2. 8TURN
8TURN (instagram.com/8turn.official)MNH Entertainment debuted 8TURN on January 30, 2023, with the album entitled 8Turnrise. The members consist of Myungho, Jaeyun, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yungyu, and Seungheon. Jaeyun is known to have participated in the survival programs BOYS24 (2016) and MIXNINE (2017). Meanwhile, Kyungmin participated in the survival program I-LAND (2020) and was predicted to be included in the lineup of &TEAM members but chose to leave before the group debuted.
In February 2024, 8TURN received an award from the Hanteo Music Awards in the category of blooming performance group. They last made a comeback in January 2024 by releasing an album entitled Stunning.
3. Xikers
Xikers (instagram.com/xikers_official)Xikers is a rookie group under KQ Entertainment which debuted on March 30, 2023. The group consists of 10 members, namely Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Yechan, Hunter, and Yujun. A month after debut, Junghoon suffered a serious knee injury so he had to take a break from activities with his group.
During their career, Xikers has received awards from the K Global Heart Dream Awards 2023 as the best rookie group. They just made a comeback in March 2023 by releasing an album entitled House of Tricky.
Road to Kingdom 2 is four years later than the first season and is rumored to be broadcast in the second half of 2024. Fans hope that the popularity of the groups participating in the program will increase. Which other groups will participate?
