Yoo Ah In’s involvement in drug abuse began long before his arrest. He was accused of purchasing medical propofol 181 times between September 2020 and March 2022, claiming it was for anesthesia during cosmetic treatments. This pattern continued with illegal prescriptions and purchases of sleeping pills 44 times between May 2021 and August 2022. Shockingly, he even used someone else’s identity to acquire these drugs.

The investigation revealed Yoo Ah In had been using four types of medical narcotics: propofol, metamine, cocaine, ketamine, and zolpidem.
