1. Synopsis of the film “Following”

Originally titled “She’s Dead” or “She Died” in Korean (그녀가 죽었다 – Geunyeoga Jugeottda), the film delves into the life of an influencer named Han So Ra (Shin Hae Sun). Displaying a glamorous lifestyle on social media to gain followers and earn money, Han So Ra’s reality is starkly different as she fabricates her luxurious existence online.
On the flip side, there’s real estate agent Koo Jung Tae (Byun Yo Han), whose peculiar hobby involves spying and stalking people, including Han So Ra, intrigued by the influencer’s deceit.
However, Han So Ra suddenly goes missing, and Koo Jung Tae, the avid stalker, discovers her lifeless body in his house, leading to him being wrongfully accused of her murder. Now, Koo Jung Tae must unravel the truth while being pursued by detective Oh Young Joo (Lee El).

A press conference was held on Thursday (18/4/2024) with the main trio: Byun Yo Han, Shin Hae Sun, and Lee El. Byun Yo Han praised the script as the best he’s encountered, while Shin Hae Sun teased the film’s compelling emotional depth.
