Review:

Secretary Bai Wants to Resign Everyday is a delightful web drama that manages to pack a lot of charm into its short episodes. Here are my thoughts on this mini romantic comedy:

  1. Short and Sweet Format: This drama follows a web series format, with each episode lasting only 5-7 minutes. While this brevity limits the depth of character development and plot complexity, it also ensures that the story remains concise and engaging. If you’re looking for a quick watch during your coffee break, this drama fits the bill perfectly.
  2. Time Loop Mystery: The central premise revolves around a time loop, where Secretary Bai Jing finds herself trapped. As she tries to unravel the mystery behind this temporal anomaly, viewers are treated to a mix of humor, romance, and intrigue. The pacing keeps you hooked, and the gradual revelation of the loop’s cause adds an element of suspense.
  3. Adorable Chemistry: The chemistry between the two leads, Bai Jing and President Jin Shian, is endearing. Every time Jin Shian smiles, hearts melt. His dimples are swoon-worthy, and their interactions are both funny and heartwarming. The audience gets glimpses into their inner thoughts, adding to the hilarity of each episode.
  4. Character Dynamics: Bai Jing is the brains behind solving the time loop, while Jin Shian’s pride and big-headedness provide comic relief. His unwarranted self-confidence clashes with Bai Jing’s practical approach, creating amusing situations. Their evolving friendship and teamwork make for an enjoyable watch.
  5. Minimal Music Score: The drama lacks an extensive music soundtrack, relying mostly on background music for specific scenes. While this simplicity keeps the focus on the characters and plot, some viewers might miss having more memorable tunes.
  6. Overall Recommendation: Secretary Bai Wants to Resign Everyday is a light-hearted romp that balances humor, mystery, and romance. If you’re short on time and want something sweet and entertaining, give this drama a try. Just remember that it’s a web drama, so adjust your expectations accordingly.

In summary, this bite-sized series delivers laughs, cute moments, and a touch of mystery—all wrapped up in a neat time loop package. 🕰️🌟

Note: The drama’s official title in Chinese is 白秘书每天都想辞职 (Bai Mi Shu Mei Tian Du Xiang Ci Zhi), adapted from the web novel by Fat Mi Zi.
