Genre: Romance, Drama

Release Year: 2022

Episodes: 11

Main Cast:

  • Sato Shinohara (Tsuchiya Tao): The warm-hearted protagonist who runs a modest restaurant in a bustling urban area alongside her mother.
  • Kenta Miyama (Matsushita Kouhei): Sato’s devoted boyfriend who proposes to her, setting the stage for their journey into married life.

Synopsis: Sato Shinohara’s restaurant may be unassuming, but its regular customers flock there for more than just the food. Her welcoming attitude and kind personality create an inviting atmosphere. Life seems perfect when Kenta Miyama, deeply in love with Sato, pops the question. However, their path to happily-ever-after encounters a significant obstacle: Kenta’s family.

Kenta hails from a once-noble lineage, tracing its roots back four centuries to Japan’s feudal past. Their wealth and high-society status clash with Sato’s commoner background. The mere thought of their beloved son marrying someone outside their social stratum is abhorrent to them. Despite Kenta’s assurances that his family will eventually accept Sato, their objections persist. Can Sato win them over with her unique charms, or is their union doomed before they even tie the knot?
