“Inspector Koo” is a whacky, bizarre, and surreal crime comedy that defies conventions and delivers a refreshing take on the investigative thriller genre. With a perfect blend of dark humor, morbid satire, and unexpected twists, this drama keeps viewers hooked from start to finish.
The story revolves around Inspector Koo Kyung Yi (played by the talented Lee Young Ae), an ex-cop turned insurance investigator. Haunted by a tragic incident in her personal life, Koo Kyung Yi is relentless in her pursuit of the truth. Her desire to uncover the mysteries behind various cases leads her down a twisted path, where nothing is as it seems.
The drama unfolds in three stages:
