Synopsis
Kevin is a live streamer whose passion, due to past trauma, is the challenge of hunting ghosts. He didn't know that he'd come to stay under the same roof as those hunted ghosts when he comes to live with relatives in Thailand. He also meets Pluem, a young man who seems to understand his feelings of loss. Together, the two have to confront a truth too difficult to bear.

Editor's Review
“Ghost Host, Ghost House” is a beautiful and emotional BL series that defies the typical ghost story tropes. The synopsis might mislead you, but fear not—it’s a romance set against the backdrop of ghostly encounters. The two main characters, Kawin and Pluem, are both alive and human, which sets this series apart from traditional ghost tales.
The chemistry between the actors is palpable, and their relationship develops organically. The show doesn’t rely on forced dramatic conflicts; instead, it focuses on genuine emotions. The pacing is slow and steady, allowing the feelings to breathe. While there’s a supernatural element with ghosts, it’s not a dark show. Kawin, the ghost hunter, seeks to communicate with spirits rather than vanquish them.
The handholding scenes alone are more emotional and sexy than most BLs, and the absence of dead fish kisses is refreshing. The side characters add depth to the story, leaving viewers wanting more. If anything, the series could have been longer than its eight episodes, as there are mysteries and side character relationships that could have been further explored.
In summary, “Ghost Host, Ghost House” is a delightful blend of romance and supernatural intrigue. If you’re tired of clichés and crave a heartfelt BL, give this one a watch. Just remember that the ghosts here are more than just apparitions—they’re part of a love story that transcends the mortal realm.
