For Him had a promising start, with the first few episodes being pretty good and intriguing. However, it quickly fizzled out. The plot suffered from several holes and inconsistencies, and small details ruined the continuity.
The series follows the story of Him and Nail. Their relationship begins with a one-night stand, but it doesn’t end there. Him entangles himself in Nail’s life, and soon Nail finds himself surrendering to Him. The chemistry between the two leads is palpable, and their interactions keep viewers engaged.
Nail, portrayed by Dew Nitikorn Pankram, steals the show. He is assertive, sassy, intelligent, and flirty. His character is reminiscent of Uea from Bed Friend, and it’s refreshing to see minimal shyness in a relationship. The black nail polish in episode 12 adds a unique touch, and the NSFW scenes are a treat for fans of the genre.
However, the series falls short in several aspects. The plot stretches thin over 12 episodes, with unnecessary flashbacks and pacing issues. Some scenes are so bad that they become unintentionally entertaining. Additionally, the conflict faced by one of the couples feels illogical.
For Him also faced controversy off-screen, with actors posting about non-payment and harassment. Despite its flaws, the chemistry between the leads and Nail’s character make it worth a watch for fans of gay romance dramas.
