Synopsis
The bright and diligent Do Hae Yi is a student at Yeonhee University. Because of her family's poor financial situation, she places a priority on making money rather than school. One day, Do Hae Yi suddenly joins the cheering squad Theia which has existed for 50 years at Yeonhee University. She only joins the club for money, but while participating in the cheering squad, Do Hae Yi starts experiencing the joy of campus life and meets various people from Theia including Bae Young Woong, who was once a member of Theia and he is an alumnus of Yeonhee Univers, supporting the cheering squad financially and emotionally.

“Cheer Up” is a delightful Korean drama that seamlessly weaves together elements of mystery, comedy, and romance. Set against the backdrop of a high school cheerleading squad, the series introduces us to a colorful cast of characters who grapple with personal challenges, friendships, and love.
1. Engaging Storyline: The drama revolves around Do Hae Yi, a spirited and shamelessly money-driven girl. Initially, her enthusiasm and energy are infectious, making her interactions with other characters enjoyable. However, as the story progresses, her character becomes stagnant, and the plot takes unexpected turns. The love triangle adds tension, but unfortunately, neither male lead stands out significantly.
2. Character Development: While some side characters experience minor personality changes, the main characters remain largely undeveloped. The writers attempt to address this in the final episodes, but the rushed pacing leaves much to be desired. Despite this, the chemistry between the characters and their dedication to the cheerleading team create a sense of camaraderie.
