“Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me” is a captivating drama that weaves together love, reincarnation, and adventure across two lifetimes. Set in both the 1800s and the present day, this series takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster, blending historical intrigue with modern-day complexities.
The story revolves around strong love, jealousy, memories, and hard life conditions. It delves into profound questions: How far are people willing to go for wealth? Why do we desire riches? And ultimately, what does it mean to love forever?
What Works:

- Rich Storytelling: The drama covers a wide range of themes, including work, motivation, travel, and the pursuit of eternal love. It’s a tapestry of emotions and experiences.
- Beautiful OST: Just like “Goblin,” “Black Knight” features a memorable soundtrack that enhances the emotional impact of key scenes.
What Could Be Improved:
- Pacing: While the show starts strong, it occasionally slows down and becomes complicated. Some viewers may find certain plot twists hard to follow.
- Rewatch Value: Despite its strengths, “Black Knight” lacks the rewatch value of other dramas. Once you’ve experienced the surprises and revelations, the magic diminishes upon subsequent viewings.
