The heart of this drama lies in the bond between Yeo Jun and Soo Hyun. Their bickering and camaraderie create moments of both humor and vulnerability. Yeo Jun’s pain, hidden behind his sorrowful eyes, resonates deeply. His longing for love and acceptance drives the narrative, and actor Ji Hoon portrays this complex character with remarkable depth.

The trio—Yeo Jun, Soo Hyun, and So Bin—share common ground in their troubled pasts. Yeo Jun suffered abuse from his father, Soo Hyun became the family’s provider after his father’s passing, and So Bin grappled with her parents’ divorce. Their scars run deep, shaping their personalities and choices.

Overcoming Pain

The drama beautifully explores the difficulty of relying on others and the walls we build to protect ourselves. Trauma distorts memories, and these three strangers learn to break down their defenses. Their friendship blossoms into a loving brotherhood, offering hope and healing.

A Few Annoyances

While “At a Distance, Spring Is Green” captivates, some aspects fall short. The pacing occasionally drags, and certain plotlines lack depth. However, the overall experience is rewarding, especially for a younger audience.
