“Resurrection of the Seven”: Script Reading Unveils Intense Performances by Hwang Jeong-eum and Cast

SBS-TV’s new Friday-Saturday drama, “Resurrection of the Seven,” recently held a script reading session. The drama, written by Kim Soon-ok and directed by Oh Jun-hyuk and Oh Song-hee, promises an intriguing storyline.

The ensemble cast, led by Hwang Jeong-eum, includes Eom Ki-jun, Lee Jun, Lee Yu-bi, Shin Eun-kyung, Yoon Jong-hoon, Jo Yoon-hee, Jo Jae-yoon, Yoon Tae-young, and Lee Jung-shin.

Despite personal challenges, Hwang Jeong-eum’s presence shone brightly. News of her recent breakup with husband Lee Young-don surfaced on the 22nd, yet she remained committed to her role. Her unmatched aura leaves a lasting impression.

Eom Ki-jun returns as “Matthew Lee,” exuding madness in three dimensions. Lee Joon portrays Min Do-hyuk, an avenger who defies death.

The confrontation scene between Lee Joon and Eom Ki-jun reportedly crackled with tension, showcasing their perfect chemistry.

Lee Yoo-bi passionately embodies “Han Monet,” a star born from deception. Shin Eun-kyung transforms into “Cha Joo-ran,” driven by unending desires.

The production team hints at more intrigue, emphasizing that Matthew Lee’s evil deeds persist. The surviving evildoers may have lost their freedom, but Min Dohyuk remains on the run from evil.
