The Korean drama Queen of Tears continues to stir conversation, even after its final episode aired last Sunday (28/4/2024). In the concluding moments of Episode 16, an elderly figure symbolizing the aged Baek Hyun Woo makes an appearance.
Only recently did it come to light that the actor portraying the elder Baek Hyun Woo, also known as the grandfather, is Park Seong Man. But who is he?

Following the happy ending, viewers were taken aback by the introduction of a grandfather character who, as it turns out, is an older version of Baek Hyun Woo. The production team chose not to fully reveal the grandfather’s face, opting instead for a silhouette.
It has now been disclosed that Park Seong Man plays the older iteration of Baek Hyun Woo’s character. This revelation came through his personal Instagram account, @bangtalgrey, during the filming of Queen of Tears.

Describing himself as a former hockey player in his Instagram bio, Park Seong Man currently works as a senior model. His modeling journey commenced towards the end of 2019, and he has since participated in various photoshoots and fashion events.

3. Park Seong Man: Member of the “Ahjussis” Group
Beyond modeling, Park Seong Man is also part of the senior KPop ensemble known as the “Ahjussis” group. This group has made appearances on several South Korean variety shows, showcasing their dancing prowess.
In the group, Park Seong Man holds the position of visual number two. While he may not frequently participate in dance and song performances, Park Seong Man and his group often serve as models for senior fashion.
