Meet The Future Doctors Of Resident Playbook, A Spin-Off Of Hospital Playlist

Resident Playbook is a new drama that will take you inside the lives of young doctors who are pursuing their dreams of becoming “good doctors”. The show is a spin-off of the popular Hospital Playlist, which follows the friendship and work of five senior doctors at Yulje Medical Center.

The show focuses on the residents of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Jongno Yulje Hospital, a branch of Yulje Medical Center. The cast includes Go Youn Jung, Shin Sia, Han Yezee, Kang You Seok, and Jung Jun Won, who are rising stars in the Korean entertainment industry. They will portray the challenges and joys of being a resident doctor, as well as their personal and professional relationships.

The teaser video and posters for the show have been released, giving a glimpse of the characters and their stories. They are seen wearing scrubs and badges, showing their passion and dedication for their work. They also express various emotions, such as determination, excitement, anxiety, and frustration, as they face different situations in their medical practice. The show promises to give a deeper and broader view of the Yulje universe, as it explores the different aspects of the hospital and its staff.

Hospital Playlist

The show is created by the same team behind the hit series Reply and Hospital Playlist, which are known for their realistic and heartwarming portrayal of human relationships. The director is Lee Min Soo, who also directed the acclaimed thriller Stranger, and the writer is Kim Song Hee, who was an assistant writer for Reply 1988 and Hospital Playlist.

The production team said, “We hope that the viewers will empathize with the ordinary and extraordinary days of the doctors, nurses, and patients, who are all trying to do their best in their own ways.”

Resident Playbook will air on tvN in the first half of this year.
