Lee Byung-hun, guest at the Florence Korean Film Festival… Attending a special tribute exhibition


(Dispatch=Reporter Park Hye-jin) Actor Lee Byung-hun will attend the 22nd Florence Korean Film Festival as a special guest.

The Florence Korean Film Festival is a film festival that introduces Korean films to Italy. It has created a venue for cultural exchange between Korea and Italy. It will be held in Florence from the 21st to the 30th of next month.

The film festival invited Byung-hun Lee as a special guest. A special exhibition will also be held as a tribute to Lee Byung-hun. Seven movies will be screened.

‘Concrete Utopia’ was selected as the opening film. ‘Bungee Jumping’ (2001), ‘Bittersweet Life’ (2005), ‘That Summer’ (2006), ‘Gwanghae, the Man Who Became King’ (2012), ‘Inside Men’ (2015), ‘That’s the Only One’ ‘My World’ (2018) will be screened.

Riccardo Zelli, executive chairman of the Florence Korean Film Festival, said, “We have decided to hold a special exhibition to pay tribute to Lee Byung-hun. This year, in particular, marks the 140th anniversary of international relations between Italy and Korea.”

Lee Byung-hun participates in the special exhibition ‘Korean Film Star Lee Byung-hun: From to . He will visit the film festival in person starting on the 28th. There will be a conversation with the audience after the screening of ‘A Bittersweet Life’.

Meanwhile, Lee Byung-hun is currently filming season 2 of the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’.
