Go Hyun Jung and Jang Dong Yoon Confirmed to Star in Drama Adaptation of French Series

It’s official! Go Hyun Jung and Jang Dong Yoon will star in the Korean drama adaptation of the French series, La Mante. The new drama, which is tentatively titled La Mante as well, promises a thrilling storyline that has already captured fans’ imaginations.

La Mante tells the intriguing story of a woman who has been imprisoned for years as a notorious serial killer. Her life takes a dramatic turn when a series of murders mimicking her distinctive style emerge. The police, desperate to solve these brutal crimes, turn to her for help.

Go Hyun Jung steps into the shoes of Jung Yi Shin, the serial killer known as Mantis, who was responsible for the brutal murders of five people two decades ago. Her portrayal of a complex character with a dark past is highly anticipated.

Jang Dong Yoon will portray her son, Cha Soo Yeol, a dedicated police officer. His character faces the challenging task of working with his mother to crack the copycat murder case.
