Chun Woo Hee, a renowned Korean actress, has recently starred in several popular dramas, including Delightfully Deceitful (2023), The 8 Show (2024), and The Atypical Family (2024). Her packed schedule left her feeling overwhelmed, and she was hesitant to accept the offer for The Atypical Family due to the intense shooting commitments. Juggling Multiple Dramas
While filming Delightfully Deceitful and The 8 Show, Chun Woo Hee faced the challenge of managing overlapping schedules. She had to frequently travel between Daejeon and Seoul, which took a toll on her physically.
“Shooting schedules for Delightfully Deceitful and The 8 Show overlapped, so I had to go back and forth between Daejeon and Seoul for several months,” Chun Woo Hee explained. She admitted feeling embarrassed by her physical difficulties and even fell ill multiple times due to the demanding schedule.
Striving for Perfection
Despite not being in the best shape, Chun Woo Hee remained committed to delivering outstanding performances. She emphasized her sense of responsibility and professionalism in her work.
“When I decide to do something, I take responsibility for it. I also thought about not being greedy just because I wanted to do it. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to finish the job well,” she shared during the interview.
A Change of Heart About The Atypical Family
Initially, Chun Woo Hee turned down the offer for The Atypical Family. However, her decision changed after meeting director Jo Hyun Tak.
“I ended up going to the director to say no directly. But after seeing him in that meeting, I started to change my mind. I thought I had to do this project,” Chun Woo Hee revealed. She highlighted that Jo Hyun Tak’s reputation for producing high-quality work was a significant factor in her decision to join the drama.
Recently, Chun Woo Hee has been in discussions to star in the drama My Youth, collaborating with Song Jong Ki. Fans eagerly await her upcoming projects, anticipating more stellar performances from the talented actress.
