The latest news involves the crew and cast of the Pick Me Trip in Bali TV show. They were recently detained by the police for allegedly filming without proper permission on the Island of the Gods. Now, it’s reported that they have been released.
However, the matter didn’t end there. To take responsibility, the production team has been slapped with a hefty fine.
1. Dita from SECRET NUMBER Concludes Investigation
On Friday (26/4/2024), SPOTV News reported that the crew and cast of Pick Me Trip in Bali, totaling 30 people, were detained at their hotel. Their passports were confiscated due to the alleged unauthorized filming.
Despite plans to return to South Korea, the incident caused a delay for Dita from SECRET NUMBER, Hyoyeon from SNSD, Bomi from APINK, and Lim Nayoung.
As of this afternoon, MK Culture reported that the investigation involving the cast has concluded, allowing them to return to their activities.
2. Production Team Fined 100 Million Won
Although the cast members, including Hyoyeon from SNSD, Bomi from Apink, Choi Hee, Lim Na Young, and Dita from SECRET NUMBER, have been released and can resume their activities, the case isn’t closed yet.
As part of their responsibility, the production team has been fined 100 million won or IDR 1.2 billion. However, the production team has yet to issue an official statement regarding this matter.
3. Broadcast of Pick Me Trip in Bali Scheduled for May
Pick Me Trip in Bali is a variety show with a journey concept where the participants are selected in real-time by the audience. This time, Bali was chosen as the destination, featuring well-known Korean artists such as Hyoyeon from SNSD, Bomi from Apink, Lim Na Young, Choi Hee, and Dita from SECRET NUMBER.
