Na Moon Young (Lee Bo Young) is the main character in the TV show Hide. At first, her life seemed perfect. She had a loving husband, a sweet daughter, and supportive in-laws. But, in reality, the people around her lied and betrayed her.
In the 12 episodes of Hide, at least five people revealed their true selves and opposed Na Moon Young. Despite appearing good on the surface, they actually betrayed her and ruined her life. Who are they?
1. Cha Sung Jae
Cha Sung Jae (Lee Moo Saeng) is Na Moon Young’s husband. They’ve known each other since they were teenagers and seemed like the ideal couple. However, he was having an affair with their neighbor and plotted to frame Na Moon Young for a crime.
2. Cha Woong
Cha Woong (Park Ji Il) is Cha Sung Jae’s father and Na Moon Young’s father-in-law. He’s a respected lawyer and chairman of a charity. But, obsessed with his reputation, he betrayed his family and fought against Na Moon Young to protect his image.
3. Park Myung Hee
Park Myung Hee (Nam Gi Ae) is Cha Sung Jae’s mother and Na Moon Young’s mother-in-law. Blinded by love for her son, she supported all his crimes, including murder and identity theft. She also separated Na Moon Young from her daughter.
4. Ha Yeon Joo
Ha Yeon Joo (Lee Chung Ah) is the main antagonist in the show. Driven by revenge for her father’s death, she obsessively tries to destroy Na Moon Young. Before her true motives were revealed, she posed as a friendly neighbor and cooking teacher to Na Moon Young’s daughter.
5. Na Seok Jin
Na Moon Young’s biological father was declared dead over 20 years ago. He instructed Na Moon Young to falsely identify someone else’s body as his own, leading to her feeling guilty and depressed at just 17 years old.
These five characters were once close to Na Moon Young, considered family and friends she could trust. However, they betrayed her trust, causing immense suffering in her life.
