Adapted from the webtoon of the same title, the Korean drama Pyramid Game delivers endings that defy expectations. The ultimate destinies of the main and supporting characters diverge significantly from their webtoon counterparts.
Starting from the conclusion of Baek Ha Rin, Myoung Ja Eun, to Seo Do Ah, disparities abound. Some even face lighter repercussions compared to their webtoon counterparts!

1. Baek Ha Rin (Jang Da Ah) was hospitalized as an ‘Unknown Patient’ and subsequently disowned by the Baek family. In the webtoon, however, Baek Ha Rin surrenders to the police but retains her position as the successor of the Baektae Group.
2. Myoung Ja Eun (Ryu Da In) in the drama escapes without any serious injuries. In contrast, the webtoon depicts him suffering from acid burns and having his hair forcibly cut by Bang Woo Yi (Ha Yul Ri).
3. Seo Do Ah (Shin Seul Ki) faces expulsion from school in the drama and opts to take the GED test. Conversely, in the webtoon, she agrees to pursue studies abroad.
4. Go Eun Byeol (Jeong Ha Dam) continues to seek validation at Hankuk University in the drama. In the webtoon, however, she faces ostracism from her neighbors and even has eggs thrown at her.
5. Kim Da Yeon (Hwang Hyun Jung) receives direct punishment from her father in the drama, whereas in the webtoon, she serves a prison sentence ranging from one to three years.
6. Bang Woo Yi‘s parents subject him to a psychopath test in the drama, while the webtoon depicts him serving a two to four-year jail term for his attack on Myoung Ja Eun.
7. Sim Eun Jeong (Lee Ju Yeon) sustains injuries in the drama but ultimately recovers to compete again. Conversely, in the webtoon, he is barred from participating in swimming competitions but remains uninjured.
8. Jung Yeon Doo (Kim Ye Na) drops out of school in the drama until her father resigns from the council. In contrast, the webtoon version sees her studying abroad and returning to South Korea five years later.
9. Gu Seol Ha (Choi Yoon Seo) faces expulsion from her association following the bullying scandal in the drama. In the webtoon, she receives the same fate but also serves a prison term ranging from six months to a year.
10. Park Ji Yeong (Lee Gyu Seon) faces ridicule from netizens for making a defense in the drama, while in the webtoon, he issues a public apology on social media.
